State Street School Feinstein Jr. Scholars, including Hallie, pictured here, once again joined Dr. Torbett and her staff at Crestview Dental Associates for the annual Treats for Troops campaign. Treats for Troops is a Halloween candy collection program in which local dental offices and other businesses agree to accept excess Halloween candy from school children in exchange for toothbrushes or other goodies. The treats are then sent to U.S. service members serving abroad.

"We are so proud to have participated in this Feinstein Good Deed for the ninth consecutive year," said Teacher Laurie Dunn. "We thank Dr. Torbett and her staff for coming to our school to collect the candy donations and hand out toothbrushes. State Street School collected 230 pounds of candy... simply amazing!"
