WESTERLY — Area residents have the opportunity to make history Saturday during the much-heralded Olde Tyme Fair in Wilcox Park. The fair, the brainchild and baby of Paul Donohue, is part of Westerly’s year-long 350 anniversary celebration.

Scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., the fair will feature swan boat rides in the pond, trips around the park’s perimeter on a trackless train, jugglers, magicians, carnival games, music from Westerly's own Roomful of Blues. Fairgoers can sample slices of a gigantic birthday cake, designed and baked by two local bakes, which will be served during the day long event.
