PROVIDENCE —  Single tickets for "Hamilton," the blockbuster play about Alexander Hamilton, America's Founding Father and first Secretary of the Treasury, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War, will go on sale to the public on Saturday, June 8 at 8 a.m., and in person at the Providence Performing Arts Center box office, 220 Weybosset St., Providence, or online at ppacri.org

Tickets will be available for performances between July 23 – Aug. 11.

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, the hit musical is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Hamilton.

Prices will range from $83 to $188 with a select number of $298 premium seats available for all performances. All ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge. Prices do not include additional fees. There will be a daily lottery when 40 seats will be sold at $10 apiece which will be announced closer to the engagement.

Ticket sales at the box office will be organized via a randomized lottery system, using a random number selection based on numbered wristbands. Patrons are asked to bring a valid photo I.D., that matches a credit card. Wristbands will be distributed to patrons 16 and older beginning at 6 a.m., although a wristband does not guarantee a ticket. Camping outside the theater is not permitted. Once patrons have received their wristbands, they will be moved into the theatre and seated. Groups of 50 patrons at a time will then be selected at random based on wristband numbers. Once your purchase group is called, PPAC staff will line up all customers in that purchase group in numerical order based on your wristband. You must keep your wristband on throughout this process. We will draw purchase groups at random until all available tickets are allocated.

The online system will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, and will automatically place patrons in a queue-it online waiting room beginning. Logging in prior to 7 a.m. will not secure a place in the online waiting room.

"Hamilton," is the season finalé of the Taco/White Family Foundation Broadway Series for the 2018/2019 Season.
