NORTH STONINGTON — Tenor Ian O’Brien will join pianist Aymeric Dupré la Tour Sunday for a concert called “Exalted Love Art Songs.”

The pair will perform "Biondina," a song cycle by Charles-François Gounod (1818-1893), to celebrate the bi-centennial of Gounod's birth.

The concert will also feature vocal and solo piano works by Carl Czerny; Franz Liszt, his first American student; William Mason and others.

The concert is sponsored by the North Stonington Historical Society. Two concerts, one at 4 p.m. and another at 6:30 p.m. will be held in the parlor at the Stephen Main House at 1 Wyassup Road, North Stonington.

Tickets are $20 per person and can be reserved by calling 860- 536-4826.
