MASHANTUCKET — Foxwoods Resort Casino has announced the return of its popular "Broadway Series at Foxwoods."

Kicking off in February, the Fox Theater stage will feature a lineup of award-winning classics the whole family can enjoy. The series opens with "The Color Purple," which will run from Feb. 2–9. "Finding Neverland" is next and will run Feb. 27 to March 1, and "The Choir of Man" will close out the series, running from April 10–12.

Winner of the 2016 Tony Award for "Best Musical Revival," "The Color Purple" was described as “one of the greatest revivals ever” by New York Magazine. With a soul-raising, Grammy-winning score of jazz, gospel, ragtime and blues, the show gives an exhilarating new spirit to this Pulitzer Prize-winning story. Tickets start at $40. 

"Finding Neverland," based on the critically acclaimed and Academy Award-winning film, tells the story behind one of the world’s most beloved characters, Peter Pan. The magic of the classic tale springs spectacularly to life in this heartwarming theatrical event, which was awarded Broadway.com’s Audience Choice Award for Best Musical. Tickets start at $55.

"The Choir of Man," known as the ultimate feel-good show, offers up 90 minutes of indisputable joy. The multitalented cast of nine sings everything from pub tunes and folk to classic rock on the set of a real working pub. Celebrating music from the likes of Adele, Queen, Paul Simon, Katy Perry, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and more, the show is sure to provide something for everyone in this joyous and uplifting performance for all ages. Tickets start at $49.
