Discordia’s four goals help C.C. O’Brien’s win


WESTERLY — Chris Discordia scored four goals to lead C.C. O’Brien’s to a 7-5 win against Grey Sail in Westerly Hockey League last week.

C.C. O’Brien’s led 2-1 at the end of the first period and 7-5 after a hotly-contested second. Brian Discordia scored twice for the winners.

Ken Dishon had a hat-trick for Grey Sail.

Buckley ............................6

John Teeson scored once in each of the three periods to lead Morrone’s. The winners led 2-0 at the end of the first period and 5-2 at the end of the second.

Chris Sheldon and Daniel Thearle each scored twice for Buckley.

NESCO ..............................8

Westerly Auto Body .........1

Gabe Carr-Harris and Carey Murphy each scored a hat-trick for NESCO.

The winners led 3-1 after one period and never looked back.

Ca-Gin Concrete .............10

Malted Barley ..................7

Irv Allyn, Craig Bryant and Tyler Page each scored twice for the winners. With the teams tied 4-4 at the end of the second period, Ca-Gin outscored Malted Barley 6-3 for the win.

Graig Angarella scored all three of his goals for Ca-Gin in that period.

Mystic River ....................6

Broadway Auto ...............3

Justin Maryeski and Max Kneeland each scored twice to lead Mystic River.

The winners led 5-1 at the end of two periods, after scoring three unanswered goals in the second.

Westerly Dermatology ....5

Lenihan Appraisal ...........3

Westerly outscored Lenihan 3-1 in the third period to break a 2-2 tie and win going away.

Adam Bonvelle led the winners with two goals.

Northend Suds .................8

Westerly Auto Body ........0

Northend scored three goals in the first period and four in the second. Justin Liese and Buck Butler led the winners with two goals apiece.
