W.H. Moving takes title


STONINGTON — Vernon Moore’s five touchdown passes lifted Watch Hill Moving and Storage to a 33-20 win over Brookside Electric/C.C. O’Brien’s in the Westerly-Pawcatuck YMCA flag football championship game

Moore completed 17 of 22 passes for the five scores and was intercepted twice.

Mike Portunato and J.J. Justice each caught a TD.

Jay Woodward was 11-for-21 with three TDs for Brookside.

Tyreke Montgomery had two catches and a touchdown and Jeff Dimock also caught a TD pass.
