Unkuri defeats Avie’s


WESTERLY — Doug Stanley threw for four touchdowns for Unkuri Builders in a 35-13 win against 7-11/Avie’s in Westerly-Pawcatuck YMCA flag football league play on Sunday.

Andrew Bailey and Kyle Smith each had six receptions for Unkuri. Smith scored a pair of touchdowns and Bailey had one.

Kyle Antrim scored a couple of TDs for 7-11/Avie’s.

LMEB............................. 14

Jay Woodward completed 9 of 13 passes and threw for three scores. Adam Falcone caught one TD pass.

Nick Pizza scored one touchdown for LMEB.

Northend Suds.............. 22

Free Agents.................... 13

Ray Arruda connected on 14 passes in 24 attempts and threw for three scores for Northend Suds. Britton Friend and Scott Zerbarini each caught four passes and scored a TD for Northend.

Chris Ligouri threw for a couple of touchdowns for the Free Agents.

Zanella........................... 32

Brazen Hen/Philly......... 22

Noah Larson threw for four touchdowns and completed 22 of 30 attempts for Zanella.

Jake Blanding had eight catches and a TD for Zanella’s. Vernon Moore threw for two scores for Brazen Hen.

Shoreline Sprinklers/Lawn Care............................... 28

NoSto.............................. 13

Steve Burgess completed 14 of 22 passes and finished with four touchdowns for Shoreline.

Jeremy Salaun got into the end zone twice for the winners.

Jesse Silva grabbed three passes and scored one touchdown for NoSto.
