Adult softball: Danny’s Bar/The Haversham edges Hilltop


WESTERLY— Luke Raiche homered and drove in two runs helping Danny’s Bar/The Haversham to a 6-5 victory against Hilltop Cafe in the Westerly Men’s Softball League Sunday night at Craig Field.

Kevin Cobleigh was 2 for 3 with a triple and a RBI for Danny’s Bar/The Haversham (3-3).

Brian Howard and Andrew King each homered for Hilltop (5-2). King finished 3 for 3 and also doubled.

Davis Standard

/Angie’s Pizza................. 15

Seth Logan homered, doubled and drove in five runs as United Builders Supply/Cally Club beat Davis Standard/Angie’s Pizza.

Rick Federico was 4 for 4 with three RBIs for United Builders Supply/Cally Club (3-2). Fra Gencarelli finished 3 for 4 with a RBI.

Bob Curioso drove in four runs with a pair of doubles and was 4 for 5 for Davis Standard/Angie’s Pizza (1-5).

Chip Chaffee finished 4 for 5 with a double, triple and two RBIs. Kyle Potter was 4 for 4 with three RBIs.

Ryan Heiberger and Andrew Alfiero both finished with three hits each helping Watch Hill Garage/Lathrop Insurance (2-5) to the mercy -rule win.

Alfiero drove in three runs and Heiberger had two RBIs.

Jackson Barber finished 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs.

Kyle Masucci had two hits for Trivia Time (0-6).
