Chariho still unbeaten

NORTH KINGSTOWN — Meaheala Caparco hit a three-run homer over the fence to key a big-hitting attack and helped the Chariho Middle softball team stay undefeated with a 9-2 win over Davisville Monday.

Sarah Dias pitched four innings and struck out five for the victory. Caitlyn O’Leary led the offense with two hits for the Chargers (12-0, 11-0 Southern Division).

Davisville dropped to 2-7, 2-7 Southern Division.

The Chargers will try to stay undefeated, traveling to play Narragansett 3:30 p.m. today.
