  • Westerly U10s down Chariho

    WESTERLY — J.P. Gencarella scored three goals and added an assist in Westerly’s 5-3 under-10 boys’ competitive soccer game Sunday against Chariho.

    Elliot Danto and Joel Henry each scored a goal for Westerly.

    Jake Serra and Connor Cioffi each had one assist. Luke Trebisacci was Westerly’s outstanding defender in the win.

    WESTERLY — Lauren Dobson and Alisa Haik scored a goal apiece in Sunday’s tie at the Gingerella Sports Complex.

    Audra Arsenault and Christina Imbriglio had an assist apiece for Westerly. Alyson Lamb and Meghan Morrone were defensive standouts and Macie Woycik was Westerly’s goalkeeper. Lauren Siwinski had a strong game in the midfield.

    Westerly’s record is 0-3-2.

    WESTERLY — Sam Luzzi, Michael Imbriglio and Blake Busch accounted for Westerly’s goals.

    Busch, Sal Intrieri and Aiden Faubert had one assist each.

    Sean Rafferty, Davide Allen and Chas Morgan anchored the Westerly defense.

    Westerly is 0-3-2.

    WESTERLY — J.P. Gencarella scored three goals and assisted on another in Saturday’s win.

    Elliot Danto and Ryan Scanapieco had one goal apiece and Jake Serra had a single assist.

    Dylan Fister led Westerly’s defensive effort.

    WESTERLY — Rachel Federico led Westerly to a blowout win with four goals on Thursday, May 8.

    Alex Gencarella and Julia Mastrandrea scored two goals apiece and Chiara Andrews scored one.

    Mastrandrea and Andrews had one assist each.

    Westerly’s defensive standouts were Jillian Octeau and Talia Sisto. Tessa Kluver made four saves.

    WESTERLY — Westerly received a goal each from Rachel Federico, Alex Gencarelli and Julia Mastrandrea in a win in a game played Tuesday, May 6.

    Chiara Andrews and Federico has an assist each. Jillian Octeau led the defense and Tessa Kluver made five saves in goal.

    TIVERTON — Garrison Aldrich, Joseph Guarnieri and Jacob Pereira were Westerly’s top defensive players in the loss at Tiverton.

    EAST GREENWICH — Joseph Gencarelli, Ben Luzzi, Cameron Jakob and Jake Carter scored a goal apiece in Westerly’s win.

    Aaron Healy and Luke Gencarella each assisted on a goal.

    Garrison Aldrich, Jacob Pereira and Sam Elliott were the defensive standouts.

    Westerly U14 girls............ 1

    Emily Sisco assisted on a Brittany Deus goal as Westerly dropped a close game to unbeaten Burrillville.

    Meghan Morrone and goalie Macie Woycik were the defensive standouts.

    Emily Haik, Jamie Murray and Abby Keegan each scored on goal as the Westerly team earned its first win of the season.

    Emily Sisco was the defensive standout and Lauren Dobson had a strong game offensively.
