Stanley’s 6 TD passes paces Rathskeller rout


WESTERLY — Doug Stanley threw six touchdown passes to help Charlestown Rathskeller Tavern to a 47-6 win over Thorpe’s Dry Cleaners in Westerly-Pawcatuck YMCA flag football league play Sunday.

Stanley completed 15 of 23 attempts in the win. Pete Lamotte and Bill Randell were Stanley’s favorite targets, with four receptions and two touchdowns apiece.

Brandon Cahoone had two catches and scored the only touchdown of the day for Thorpe’s.

Hooties, 14

Renegade Gym, 8

T.J. Bell caught five passes and Tony Bell completed 13 passes and threw for a score in the Hooties win.

Doug Welch had three catches for Renegade Gym.

Hooties defense came up with five interceptions in the win.

Zanella, 35

LMEB, 20

Noah Larsen completed 13 passes, five for touchdowns, in Zanella’s victory.

Shaun Huntly had four receptions and a pair of touchdowns in the win.

Ed Bradley threw a pair of touchdown passes and Ken Critz had three receptions in the loss.

Brookside/CC’s, 24

NoSto, 23

Nate Dimock had four catches and scored a touchdown in Brookside Electric/C.C. O’Brien’s win while Kyle Smith chipped in with three catches and a score.

Bobby Dimock completed 11 passes and threw for three scores for Brookside.

Jared Palmer completed 15 of 20 passes and threw for three touchdowns for NoSto.

Shoreline Sprinklers, 36

Degiacomo, 22

James Labrosse threw five touchdown passes, going 14 for 25 in the win.

Matt Binkowski had four receptions, two of them for touchdowns, and Jeremy Salaun had six catches including a six-pointer.

Nick Terranova had four receptions including one for a touchdown for Sal Degiacomo Construction. Luke Gaiche threw for three TDs.
