  • Westerly Middle loses finale

    NORTH KINGSTOWN — Greydon Aldrich and Anderson Manfred scored a goal each, but the Westerly Middle boys’ soccer team lost to Davisville 3-2 on Tuesday.

    Keeper Kyle Wicklund made six saves. Defenders Lucas Gaccione and Ronan Murphy and midfielder Matthew Coskran were named as outstanding players.

    The Bulldogs finished 2-9-1.

    WESTERLY — Westerly closed its season with a loss on Tuesday.

    Keeper Maci Woycik played well for the Bulldogs. Emily Sisco and Meghan Morrone were solid on defense and Jamey Murray excelled in the midfield.

    The Bulldogs finished 5-6-2 overall and 4-6-2 in the league.
