    Luzzi propels Westerly U12 to victory

    BRISTOL — Westerly’s U12 boys’ soccer team downed Bristol 6-3 at Colt State Park on Sunday behind three goals and an assist from Sam Luzzi.

    The Westerly travel team improved to 3-0-0 with the win.

    Michael Imbriglio, Colby Makin and Blake Busch scored a goal apiece for Westerly.

    Davide Allen had an assist, as did Imbriglio and Busch.

    Nathaniel Ober was Westerly’s keeper and Sean Refferty had a strong game on defense.

    BRISTOL — Aaron Healy scored three goals and added a pair of assists for Westerly in Saturday’s win.

    Ben Luzzi, Sam Elliott and Joseph Gencarelli each scored one goal for Westerly.

    Jacob Pereira, Garrison Aldrich, Jacob Gaccione and Elliott had an assist apiece.

    The defensive standouts were Cameron Jacob and Joseph Guarnieri.

    WARWICK — Joshua Bozek and Jack Healy were credited for their play in goal and Westerly dropped to 2-2 with Sunday’s loss.

    WESTERLY — Maddie Faubert scored two goals for Westerly in Sunday’s win.

    Chiara Andrews ands Alex Gencarelli scored one goal each. Gencarelli also had an assist.

    Tessa Kluver made five saves while Talia Sisto and Jillian Octeau were the defensive standouts.

    WESTERLY — J.P. Gencarella, Ryan Scanapieco and Joel Henry accounted for the Westerly goals in Saturday’s loss.

    Gencarella had an assist.

    Dylan Fister was Westerly’s goalie.

    CHARLESTOWN — Eliot Danto scored a pair of goals in Westerly’s loss on Sunday and Jake Serra scored the other.

    J.P. Gencarella and Tsegaye Janat had one assist each and Carter Danto played in goal.
