Hi-Tech Meds win opener of finals


STONINGTON — Hi-Tech Meds downed Connected Systems 21-9 in the first game of the championship series of the Stonington Recreation Softball League playoffs on Monday.

Brian Henry went 3 for 4 with a couple of runs batted in and Kevin Perry added two hits and three RBIs in the win.

Sal Desimone led Connected Systems with three hits and a run batted in.

Connected Systems beat Handlebar Cafe 13-9 to advanced to the championship round of the playoffs with the victory.

Brandon Wheeler had one hit and drove in five runs in the win. Sal Desimone went 3 for 3 with three RBIs.

Matt Edwards went 3 for 4 and Ed Haberek added three hits for Handlebar Cafe.
