Adult softball Gringo Dingo’s earns victory

STONINGTON — Nine combined runs in the fifth and sixth innings propelled Gringo Dingo’s past Connected Systems 14-12 in a Stonington Recreation Men’s Softball League game Wednesday.

Dylan Campagna went 4 for 4 for Gringo Dingo’s (8-11).

Joe Timpone had three hits and Andrew Campagna had two.

Dave Gillickson had three hits for Connected Systems (9-10) and Mike Young had two.

Hi-Tech Meds.................. 8

Gringo Dingo’s................. 5

Hi-Tech Meds built an 8-1 lead and held off a late rally for a win Wednesday.

J.J. Olmstead had two hits for Hi-Tech Meds (17-3).

Mark Tebbets and Matt Fallon each went 2 for 3.

Dylan Campagna and Joe Timpone each had two hits for Gringo Dingo’s.
