WARWICK — Chariho High track and cross country coach Diane Leith-Doucett was the top female finisher in the Oh My Goddard Triathlon at Goddark Park on Sunday.
Leith-Doucett, who lives in Wakefield, competed in the Olympic Triathlon that features a mile swim, a 23-mile bike and 6.1 mile run. Doucett covered the course in 2 hours, 2 minutes, 24 seconds. She was 19th overall among the 192 finishers.
Charlestown’s Jason Seekell finished fourth overall in 1:54:46. Derek Jakoboski won the race in 1:50:21.
The next local male finishers was Matthew Mareka of Mystic in 10th at 1:58:54.
Mystic’s Jennifer Massengale was the first local female competitor across the line in 2:07:05. She finished 27th overall and was the second female behind Leith-Doucett.

Other local female finishers were Cheryl Robdau, Mystic (116th, 2:28:14), Carol Ann Gray, Pawcatuck (162nd, 2:42:03), Amanda Overend, Charlestown (183rd, 2:56:29), Megan Moynihan, Charlestown (187th, 3:06:41) and Jeanne Ansel, Hope Valley (190th, 3:13:41).
Stonington’s Alejandro Cifuentes-Lorenzen finished second in the Sprint Triathlon portion of the Oh My Goddard Triathlon Sunday at Goddard Park.
Cifuentes-Lorenzen completed the course in 1 hour, 1 minute, 6 seconds.
The Sprint Triathlon includes a ¼-mile swim, 11.2-mile bike and 3.4-mile run.
Sean Mulcahy of Providence topped the field of 247 finishers in 1:00:38.
Westerly’s Polly Chorlton was the top local female finisher taking 54th place in 1:17:37.
