  • Welcome home

Charlestown is one of Rhode Island’s greatest treasures. A coastal town set between the busier beach towns of Westerly and Narragansett, it is a community of quiet wooded back roads and an abundance of small town charm. Oh, and don’t forget the beaches; Charlestown has some of the finest in all of New England, which remain some of Rhode Island’s best keep secrets. It’s a great place to set down roots, and down the winding wooded serenity of Kings Factory Road sits the perfect house for a family of any size to call home.

On 2.63 acres of private wooded land sits the beautiful, like new three bedroom home at 537 Kings Factory Road. A mere minute’s drive away from Charlestown beach, 537 Kings Factory Road is the ideal home for a family. Charlestown is not only one of the most peaceful communities in Rhode Island, but is also one of the highest rated school districts in the state, and with much lower taxes than other communities so near to the beach.

537 Kings Factory Road is a gorgeous Colonial home that looks and feels like new. Built in 2005, the home was constructed with roominess and convenience in mind. Every inch of the homes over 2200 feet of living space is at once elegant and practical.

Walking up to the homes wide, covered front porch, you enter through an inviting foyer that leads three ways to the homes living room, dining room or kitchen.

Taking the kitchen route, a half-bathroom sits between it and a large coat closet. Hardwood floors flow across the first floor and take you into the kitchen, a spacious room built with cooking enthusiasts and convenience in mind. Abundant counter and cabinet space surrounds the room with a large center island perfect for prepping or just hanging around with family and friends. The corian countertops along with top of the line stainless steel appliances bring elegance to the room. As with much of the house, abundant storage opens throughout, with a separate built-in wine rack and pantry. A laundry room also sits off of the kitchen.

Windowed doors lead out of the kitchen to a stamped concrete patio along the homes backyard. The wooded backyard is wonderfully private with lots of room to relax and enjoy the nature and peace of the area. If that wasn’t enough, right across the road from the house are trail heads leading into the beautifully preserved Burlingame State Forest.

The homes dining room looks out to the equally peaceful front yard and presents a wide, formal space for entertaining. Beside the dining room, doors lead down into the homes oversized two-car garage.

Along the opposite end of the house, a long living room stretches from front to back. Deep-sill windows along the front and extra tall and wide windows at the rear let in an abundance of natural light. The inviting space is made further alluring by a brick-lined wood-burning fireplace at its center.

On the carpeted second floor, two very spacious bedrooms share a wide full bathroom with a tub/shower combination and lots of extra storage. The bedrooms are each quite large, both with deep walk-in closets all their own.

The homes master suite is even larger. The open, airy room has not one, but two deep walk-in closets. If that wasn’t enough, a door opens out to an unfinished room over the garage that is full of potential. The room could easily be converted to a home office or gym or simply utilized for extra storage space. The master bathroom has an extra wide, deep bathtub and separate toilet area behind a pocket door.

Space is just one of the things that 537 Kings Factory Road has plenty of. The other things are character, privacy and peace of mind. With efficient utilities and barely used appliances, deciding on this home is an easy choice. The listing price for 537 Kings Factory Road is $399,000.00.
