 The Jonathan Edwards Winery in N. Stonington held their annual Harvest Festival on Saturday. The event included a grape stomping competition, music, wine tasting, gourmet food vendors, local artisans an more. The festival continues on Sunday from noon to six.

A barrel full of grapes awaits crushing by bare feet during the grape stomping competition at the Jonathan Edwards Winery in N. Stonington.  The annual Harvest Festival took place on Saturday. In addition to the grape stomping competition the event included music, wine tasting, gourmet food vendors, local artisans and more. The festival continues on Sunday from noon to six.

The men took first place in the first round of the competition which requires the bare foot crushing of grapes into juice with the winner producing the most liquid.
