Letter: Volunteers needed to put out flags Saturday

The flags will be going up on Saturday, Sept. 1, for the Labor Day Holiday weekend and the American Flag Fund Committee is looking for volunteers to help set up around 200 dedicated flags along the streets of Westerly.

We will meet in back of the old Westerly Police Station on Union Street, in the back, at 7 a.m., and the plan is for taking them down will be at 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 3, to store them away until the next event.

Thank you for help, it is deeply appreciated!
