I’d like to second the Sunday, Sept. 2, letter to the editor, “Regunberg a dynamic, progressive candidate,” in The Westerly Sun from Kenneth M. Robbins and strongly recommend voting for Aaron Regunberg for Rhode Island lieutenant governor in the Wednesday, Sept. 12, Democratic primary election.
Aaron presents an exciting alternative to incumbent Dan McKee. McKee has accepted donations from numerous corporations and outside political action committees representing anti-labor interests, drug companies and Wall Street. By contrast, Mr. Regunberg has rejected all corporate contributions and has relied solely on small individual donors.
If elected, Aaron Regunberg will be a watchdog in the Statehouse working against backroom dealings and corruption that are so endemic and harmful to Rhode Island citizens. He has an excellent record of service as a state representative, fighting to protect our environment and improve the lives of working families. His work has earned him the endorsements from numerous Rhode Island environmental, education and labor organizations, as well as from 15 town and city Democratic Committees.
Please check out his excellent website and seriously consider voting for Aaron Regunberg in next Wednesday’s primary.
