A belated thank you to a gracious lady who found and returned Amy last Monday evening.
My wife’s cousin, Mary, from Elmira, N.Y., — who is more like a sister — was visiting us with family and Amy, her beloved “pound dog.” The visit was in celebration of Mary’s 90th birthday! Upon returning from being out and about, my wife and Mary discovered Amy to be totally absent from the house. A grandchild immediately took Mary in the car to search the neighborhood, wanting and hoping to find Amy.
Shortly, they spotted Amy on a leash being walked by the gracious lady searching for us! She had apparently recognized the situation and wanted to find the owner.
Mary arrived home, and had been so excited that she did not get the lady’s name. So, a belated THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
