Samantha Bazydlo has joined Dime Bank as corporate officer and branch manager of the bank’s Westerly branch, at 131 Franklin St. She will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and growth of the Westerly branch, developing new business relationships and ensuring high standards of customer service, the bank announced.

Bazydlo, of North Stonington, previously was a branch manager with Savings Institute Bank & Trust in North Windham. “Sam grew up in Westerly, knows the area well, and truly considers this community her home,” said Joshua I. Brier, Dime Bank’s senior vice President, retail sales and corporate marketing. “Having also worked at her family-owned business in town for many years, Sam understands what it takes for small, local businesses to thrive and is looking forward to sharing her expertise with others.”

Bazydlo is an active volunteer with Autism Speaks, Relay for Life, and the Dorian J. Murray Foundation.

Dime Bank, a mutual bank, has more than $800 million in assets and 12 branches southeastern Connecticut and in Westerly.
