Wood River Health adds kiosks to access exchange


HOPE VALLEY — Wood River Health Services, 823 Main St., will offer opportunities for those still without health coverage to get enrolled with the addition of two kiosks at the health center and several outreach events in the Westerly area.

The two computer kiosks at the health center can be used to access HealthSourceRI.com, the state’s insurance exchange, for those having difficulty accessing the site. The kiosks are available by appointment by calling 401-539-2461, Ext. 243.

Information sessions will be held at the Tower Street Community Center, 93 Tower St., Westerly on Monday, March 10 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and at the Jonnycake Center, 23 Industrial Drive, Westerly, on Tuesday, March 11, from 9 a.m. until noon. Attendees will also be able to book appointments for enrollment sessions at each location.

Enrollment appointments will be available for Monday, March 17, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Tower Street Center; and for Thursday, March 13, 9 a.m. to noon, and Monday, March 24, 1 to 3 p.m., at the Jonnycake Center. Appointments may also be made at Wood River Health Services by calling 401-539-2461, Ext. 243.

Interested enrollees should bring Social Security numbers and dates of birth for all eligible family members and any information that would be helpful to determine potential income for the year 2014.
