Police logs: March 27, 2014


Richmond

Eugene P. Gibbons, 50, of no known address, Charlestown, was charged March 20 on two warrants from the 6th Division and 3rd Division district courts. Police said he was taken to the police station where he was processed and unable to post the requisite bail on the two warrants. He was transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions.

Matthew B. Mumford, 18, of Exeter, was charged March 20 on a warrant from 3rd Division District Court on an original charge of vandalism by Warwick police. Police said he was taken to the station where he was processed and unable to post the surety bail of $4,055. He was taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions.

Matthew Laroche, 20, of 107 Richmond Townhouse Road, was charged March 21 on a warrant from 3rd Division District Court on a charge of failure to appear. He was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for speeding on Nooseneck Hill Road. Laroche was taken to the station where he was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Joseph Scott and was released after posting surety bail of $1,985.

Rhode Island State Police

Jesse Jacquard, 21, of 148 Watch Hill Road, Westerly, was charged Monday on a 4th Division District Court bench warrant with failure to appear for arraignment on the original charge of driving with a suspended license originating out of the Westerly Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Richmond. Jacquard was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions.
