Police logs: Dec. 26, 2013

Rhode Island State Police

Mary Jane Harvey, 44, of 3883 South County Trail, Kenyon, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, first offense, blood alcohol content, .15 or greater, (blood alcohol content readings, .207, .202). Troopers said the arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 in East Greenwich. Harvey was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed and later transported to headquarters where she was held overnight pending arraignment.

John L. Brennan, 42, of 312 Carolina Nooseneck Road, Richmond, was charged on an affidavit and arrest warrant with domestic violation of a no-contact order and domestic crank or obscene phone calls by the State Police after an investigation at the McGrath Judicial Complex in Wakefield Monday. The arrest, according to RISP, was the result of Richmond Police contacting the barracks regarding Brennan being in their custody. He was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending arraignment.

Arrests are not convictions. The disposition of local arrests may be found on the Rhode Island Judiciary website at courts.ri.gov/ and the Connecticut website at jud.ct.gov/crim.htm.
