WAKEFIELD — The following cases were heard before Judge Jeanne E. LaFazia on Friday:

Linda A. Warrell, 54, of 9 Brandywine Drive, Westerly, pleaded no contest to a Westerly police charge of resisting arrest by a police officer and was dismissed of a Westerly police charge of knowingly engaging in threatening and tumultuous behavior. The charge was filed for a year and she was ordered to pay $93.50 in court fees.

Franco Depiro, 35, of 4 Nevis Court, Westerly, pleaded not guilty to a Westerly police charge of vandalizing property at Walmart and was dismissed of a Westerly police charge of stealing property from Walmart. The vandalism charge was filed for a year.

James R. Bean, 18, of 8 Sequan Road, Westerly, pleaded no contest to a Westerly police charge of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was ordered to attend driver education school, complete 10 hours of community service, pay court fees and his license was suspended for 30 days.

Stephen W. Smith, 47, of 21 Apache Drive, Unit F, Westerly, pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was ordered to complete 10 hours of community service, pay $780.50 in court fees, attend driver education school and his license was suspended for 3 months.
