2 found guilty in January Pawcatuck burglaries

NEW LONDON — The men responsible for a rash of Pawcatuck burglaries pleaded guilty and were handed prison sentences for the January break-ins, according to court records.

Lenny Fayerweather, 26, was sentenced to 30 months in prison followed by three years of special parole for second-degree burglary and three counts of third-degree burglary, and Emmanuel Fonseca, 22, was sentenced to seven years, suspended after three years served, followed by four years of probation for the B felony — first-degree burglary at night, according to court records. Fayerweather was facing six felony charges related to the break-ins.

Arrested in March by Stonington Police, both Fayerweather and Fonseca were residing at the Elm Tree Inn, 98 W. Broad St., Pawcatuck, at the time of the burglaries, according to police and court records.
