AGE 66.

OCCUPATION Watercolor artist and retired elementary school teacher.

RESIDENCE Stonington.

I’M IN THE MIDDLE OF A painting to exhibit in the next show at the fabulous Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly.

BORN, RAISED & GREW UP IN Born, raised and grew up in Westerly and lived there until 2005 when I let my husband take me “across the river,” back to his hometown of Stonington.

FAVORITE WAY TO SPEND MY TIME Hard to pick a favorite, but I guess I’d have to say just sitting, surrounded by loved ones and enjoying the beauty of the beach after 5 p.m.

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT I have more of a long list of blessings with my daughter Kelly, and grandsons, Max and Benj Donohue, at the top of the list.

I’D LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR Simply being a nice person who others enjoyed being with.

TOP ON MY BUCKET LIST I don’t really have one...time is such a gift, so I enjoy every day no matter where I am or what I’m doing… however, if someone offered me tickets to Paris, Italy, or Bermuda, I’d start packing immediately!

WHAT I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GREW UP Different things at different ages; first, an artist; then an actress; then an artist; then a teacher; then an artist; then…

EXPERIENCE THAT HAS INFLUENCED ME THE MOST In 1990, coming to know Jesus as my personal Savior.

I AM READING “Those That Remain” by Ruth W. Crocker, a local author.

I AM LISTENING TO Sirius XM radio stations, such as, The Blend, The Highway, and The Message.

FAVORITE MOVIE/LAST MOVIE WATCHED Favorite, “Goodbye Mr. Chips;” last one watched; “The Pirate Movie.” I just spent two weeks on Cape Cod with my grandsons.

FAVORITE TV SHOW “Blacklist,” followed closely by “Downton Abbey;” “The Voice,” and “Nashville.”

FAVORITE PET Our cat Mona Lisa, and our grand-kitties Bobby, Indie and Benny.

FAVORITE FOOD Good cheese and ciabatta.

PET PEEVE Rude behavior and loud conversations in restaurants.

FAVORITE QUOTATION Jeremiah 29:11-12.

MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT OUR LITTLE CORNER OF THE WORLD First and always, the beach, followed by the fact that Westerly is becoming such an exciting arts destination.

CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT The treasured relationships in my life, beginning with Paul, my husband of 44 years.

LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT ME I have an aversion to silver paper — as in gum wrappers — and anything minty.

ADVICE I BEST LIKE TO GIVE Trust in God, and lay your concerns at His feet.

IF I RULED THE WORLD I WOULD Make certain that all children would grow up safe, protected, educated, and loved.

IF I WON THE LOTTERY, THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS Buy those tickets to Paris, Italy, and Bermuda!

I DRIVE A Gray 2011 Honda CRV.

I WISH I DROVE A Tan 1985 Mercedes convertible.

ALWAYS IN MY FRIDGE Soupy, cheese, fruit and Greek yogurt.

IF I COULD HAVE DINNER AND A CONVERSATION WITH ANYONE IN THE WORLD I WOULD CHOOSE John Singer Sargent… not for dinner and conversation though...I’d just want to sit and watch him paint.
