Letter: Rotary Club says thank you to all who visited Pops concessions

-->

The Rotary Club of Westerly extends a hearty and grateful thank you to everyone who visited our concessions in the park at Saturday’s glorious Chorus of Westerly Pops Concert. The Rotary Club has been very fortunate to be a partner in this free concert each year and contribute all the concession proceeds, after expenses, to the Chorus to support this wonderful event. This support, along with other Pops’ contributors, is critical to make this community event possible.

We are also grateful for our Angel who donated hot dogs and hot dog rolls and all the soda and water for both the Chorus, orchestra and the concessions. We are so very thankful for the spirit of cooperation and support of the following: Stonington Fisherman’s Dock, Ace Hardware, Mario’s Northend Pizzaria, Honey Dew Donuts, Bess Eaton Donuts/High Street, Avie’s Ski/Sport, Del’s Lemonade and Jonnycake Center of Westerly, Larry Stedman and all the non-Rotarian volunteers who gave their time to assist us at the concessions.

Rosemarie A. Russo

Rotary Secretary/Treasurer
