    Police logs: June 25, 2014

    Charlestown

    Rachel Bloom, 22, of Narragansett, was charged Sunday, with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, first offense, blood alcohol content unknown, when she was stopped on Route 1 after police received a call from another motorist regarding a possible impaired driver. A witness told police Bloom had left the roadway and hit a traffic sign.

    Westerly

    Charlotte I. Wood, 46, 13 Wompag Road, Westerly, was charged Monday on a bench warrant from 4th Division District Court.

    Casey E. Curran, 21, of Framingham, Mass., was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, blood alcohol content greater than .15.

    Richmond

    Michael Leuropa, 20, of North Providence, was charged June 17 on an outstanding warrant from 6th Division District Court on an original charge of vandalism.

    Tommy Thompson, 29, of 1 Summit Road, was charged on June 18 with domestic simple assault and/or battery and domestic disorderly conduct after police went to his address following a 911 hang-up call. He was arraigned and released on bail for an appearance in 4th Division District Court on July 17. He was also issued a no-contact order.

    Michael R. Eva, 51, of 208 New London Ave., was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct after police were called to the area for a dispute between neighbors. Eva was released with a summons to appear in 4th Division District Court on July 31 for an arraignment.

    Macheece Spears, 49, of 21 Woodville Alton Road, Hopkinton, was charged Friday on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in 3rd Division District Court.

    Joseph B. Kology, 21, of 4772 Old Post Road, Charlestown, was charged Saturday with domestic simple assault and battery after police said they investigated a complaint that he reportedly assaulted the alleged victim in a vehicle outside 165 Kenyon Hill Trail. He was arraigned and released on a promise to appear in 4th Division District Court on July 10. He was issued a no-contact order with the victim.
