Letter: Thank you for signing my charter-revision petition

I am writing this letter to publicly thank all the people in Westerly that heard my call to action and worked so hard to acquire the 566 plus signatures on the petition to revise the Westerly Town Charter.

Please note that the great majority were obtained in a little more than 12 days. I also want to thank all those that put pen to paper in support of this effort. We have succeeded in moving the ball down the field but definitely haven’t crossed the goal line yet. This will require continued diligence and participation as the Westerly Town Council works on satisfying the goals you all have supported by signing the petition.

Keep up the good work and please observe your government at work by attending as many council meeting as possible during this process.

Jack Armstrong
