  • Mystic man arrested twice over the weekend

STONINGTON — A Mystic man was arrested twice over the weekend after allegedly causing separate disturbances at a home in Pawcatuck.

Andrew T. Kawabata, 21, of 152 Long Wharf Road, was charged at about 8 p.m. Saturday with breach of peace and interfering with an officer, after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a home on Mayflower Avenue. He was told to leave the home and not return, according to Stonington police. However, he reportedly came back less than seven hours later, just before 3 a.m. Sunday, and was charged with breach of peace, interfering with an officer, and first-degree criminal trespass.
