College planning forum set for students with disabilities

PROVIDENCE — A college planning forum for middle and high school students with Individualized Education Programs, 504 plans, and physical or emotional disabilities, as well as their parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and other school support personnel, will be held at Providence College’s Moore Hall on Saturday, March 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The forum will help students, parents, and school personnel understand what to expect and how to prepare for a successful college experience. Breakout sessions include The Freshman Experience & Keynote, Navigating Admissions & Accessing Accommodations, Section 504 after High School, Certificate Pathways on a College Campus and a College Student Panel.
