Musicians invited to play for Pawtucket Red Sox fans

PAWTUCKET — The Pawtucket Red Sox and the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame are inviting local bands and musical artists to showcase their talents by playing for PawSox fans prior to each home game. The program is open to a wide range of local musical acts based on genre, levels of experience, age, and type of act. Professional bands and individual artists, to high school, college and civic groups, will all be considered.

Those interested in performing may fill out an online application form located at rhodeislandmusichalloffame.com. A fact sheet is also located on that page. Hall of Fame personnel will be responsible for the initial screening, with information from those qualifying being passed on to the PawSox, who will make the final determination and work out a game date with the performer.

For more information, email pawsox@rhodeislandmusichalloffame.com.
