    Police search for donut shop robber

    RICHMOND -- Police are looking for a man who they say robbed the Dunkin’ Donuts shop on Route 138 in the Wyoming section of town Saturday about 6:30 p.m.

    The man entered the shop and ordered a coffee and then demanded cash from the lone female clerk. She told police she would no be harmed as long as she cooperated. The man fled with a small amount of cash, police said. They said no other customers were in the shop at the time of the robbery. No weapon was shown.

    The man was described as a 5’-10” white male between 45-55 years old with a gray, close-cropped beard and mustache. At the time of the robbery he was wearing black pants and a black jacket with a black, derby-style cap. Anyone who was in the area of the shop at the time of the robbery is asked to call police at 401-539-8289.
