Vehicle burns in early morning fire on Church Street


BRADFORD — A state fire marshal is investigating a blaze that burned an older vehicle stored in a carport early this morning.

Dunn’s Corners firefighters made quick work of a blaze that burned the 1998 Suburban housed at 107 Church St. after the report of fire at about 1:30 a.m.

Dunn’s Corners Chief Mike Frink said the fire, which extended to a nearby box trailer used to house motorcycles, was out within five minutes. Frink said mutual aid calls to Ashaway and Charlestown were called off almost immediately

Frink said the fire marshal was on the scene this morning, but had no immediate answers to cause of the fire in the older vehicle.
