NORTH STONINGTON — Republican first selectman candidate Robert Testa will keep his seat on the Board of Selectman after a recount this morning confirmed the results of Tuesday’s election.
As the losing first selectman candidate, Robert Testa was automatically entered into the selectman race, where he beat out Republican Brett Mastroianni by a vote of 702 to 701. Today’s recount confirmed Testa’s 1-vote advantage.
The Board of Selectmen for the next two years will consist of First Selectman Nicholas Mullane II, Mark Donahue and Testa.
