The following are this week’s scheduled Rhode Island small business training events:

Wednesday

How to Explore the 8(a) Government Contracting Program, from the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Center for Women & Enterprise, 132 George M. Cohan Blvd. in Providence. The program runs from 2 to 4 p.m. and is free. To register, visit www.cweonline.org or call 401-277-0800.
