  • Fourth Division District Court: Aug. 30, 2013

    Matthew Cole, 32, of 19 Oakland Road, Richmond, pleaded not guilty to an Aug. 10 Richmond police charge of domestic simple assault. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a no-contact order pending pretrial on Sept. 19.

    Tyler O’Rourke, 26, of 25 Brandywine Drive, Apt. A, Westerly, pleaded not guilty to an Aug. 20 Westerly police charge of domestic assault, third offense. He was released on $1,000 bond with surety and issued a no-contact order pending trial Sept.24.

    Gary Allen Staggs, 52, of 13 Water St., West Warwick, pleaded not guilty to Aug. 17 Richmond police charges of driving under the influence of liquor or drugs and operating with an expired license. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a no-contact order pending pretrial Sept. 12.

    Joshua E. Pucino, 34, of 4 North Switch Road, Richmond, pleaded not guilty to a July 23 charge of operating with a suspended license and an Aug. 22 charge of driving under the influence of liquor or drugs, first offence, both by Richmond police. The license charge was dismissed pending payment on the case, and he was released on $10,000 personal recognizance pending pretrial on Sept. 5.

    Santiago M. Carrasquillo, 60, of 314 Church St., Apt. A, Richmond, pleaded not guilty to an Aug. 9 Richmond police charge of refusing to submit to a chemical test, second offense, and entered no plea for a charge on the same date of driving under the influence of liquor or drugs, first offense in five years. The chemical test charge was dismissed. He was ordered to serve one year probation, pay $100 in fines, serve 10 hours of community service, attend DUI school and treatment, and pay court costs and assessments for the DUI charge.

    David Gregoire, 34, of 180 Shannock Hill Road, Apt. 283, Richmond, had a July 21 charge of domestic refusal to relinquish or to damage or to obstruct a telephone dismissed. He was also issued no further loss of license pending costs based on a May 18 charge of operating with a suspended license.
