Police logs: Aug. 22, 2013


Adam F. Johnson, 28, of 23 Lewiston Ave., Richmond, was charged Sunday with receiving stolen goods, a go-kart, and on two outstanding 4th Division District Court warrants, after Charlestown police requested assistance in checking Johnson’s address for the allegedly stolen item. Johnson was processed at Richmond police station and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions where he will remain on the bench warrants until his court appearance.

Steven E. Briggs, 32, of 50 Kenyon School Road, Richmond, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, blood alcohol content unknown; and refusal to submit to a chemical test to determine intoxication.


Robert E. Siipola, 53, of 129 Chase Hill Road, Ashaway, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, blood alcohol content .15 or greater.

Kristen Jakob, 35, of 32 Greenman Ave., Apt. 1, Westerly, was charged Tuesday on a bench warrant from 4th Division District Court.

Michelle L. Burdick, 47, of 5 Pleasant St., Apt. 4, Westerly, was charged Wednesday on a bench warrant from 4th Division District Court.
