OCCUPATION Business owner. I own woodees in downtown Westerly.
BORN, RAISED & GREW UP IN Westerly.
FAVORITE WAY TO SPEND MY TIME At the beach, the skate park, hanging with friends. … I have fun doing anything, basically.
PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT Opening woodees!
WHAT I HOPE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR Always being my crazy self.
TOP ITEM ON MY BUCKET LIST To make woodees famous!
ALWAYS IN MY POCKET Nothing is in my pocket, because girls’ pockets are too small to put anything in.
WHAT I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GREW UP Still not sure what I want to be, but I have plenty of time to figure it out. I’ll keep you posted.
PERSON OR EXPERIENCE THAT HAS INFLUENCED ME THE MOST Maria Lenihan — what a woman. Love you, Mom!
WHAT I AM WEARING Overalls and a camo jacket.
WHAT I AM LISTENING TO Jack Johnson.
FAVORITE SONG I guess anything by Michael Franti.
FAVORITE MOVIE Honestly, movies are not my favorite, and I cannot even think of the last time I watched one.
FAVORITE TV SHOW I don’t really have a favorite show. I’d rather be paddling, skateboarding or adventuring somewhere than sitting around watching TV.
FAVORITE PET Our family dog, Fisher. Rest easy, buddy.
FAVORITE FOOD Anything my mom or Lisa Servidio makes. Soooo good!
AMOUNT OF TIME I SPEND A DAY ON FACEBOOK Just enough to post all the woodees updates.
TRAIT I MOST ADMIRE Confidence and a great personality — no deadbeats allowed.
PET PEEVE Laziness.
FAVORITE QUOTATION “Tell me what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life.” — Mary Oliver.
MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT OUR LITTLE CORNER OF THE WORLD Downtown, and the fact that we get to have a hot summer and a snowy winter.
CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT The beach.
LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT ME I successfully made it through elementary, middle and high school without ever eating hot lunch.
BEST ADVICE I’VE EVER RECEIVED “No matter what, follow your passion in life.”
ADVICE I BEST LIKE TO GIVE After taking a leave from school and opening woodees, I have heard it all; everyone, even people I don’t know, telling me what I “should” be doing. The best thing you can do is just be yourself and see where life takes you, because everyone is always trying to make us something we’re not, always telling us what is right. So like Mom says, “No matter what, follow your passion in life,” and things will turn out just fine.”
IF I RULED THE WORLD I WOULD I wouldn’t want to rule the world. I’m content just doing my own things.
IF I WON THE LOTTERY, THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS You probably wouldn’t see me for a while. I would be too busy exploring the world, having a grand old time.
I DRIVE A Silver 1993 Volvo 240.
I WISH I DROVE A See above.
ALWAYS IN MY FRIDGE Juice — all kinds.
IF I COULD HAVE DINNER AND A CONVERSATION WITH ANYONE IN THE WORLD I WOULD CHOOSE My mom’s brother, Peter, who passed away at a young age. I bet he would have been a pretty cool uncle.
