Dutch Baroque art talk Monday at Mystic & Noank Library


MYSTIC — The Mystic and Noank Library will host a talk with Professor Robert Baldwin on Monday, June 23, at 7 p.m. entitled “Fabritius’ Goldfinch, Vermeer’s Girl with the Pearl Earring, and Kalf’s Still-Life: Humble Subjects and High Aestheticism in Dutch Baroque Art.” Baldwin is an Associate Professor of Art at Connecticut College who specializes in the social history of Late Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque art.
