Neon Glow Fun Run supports Chamber programs

WESTERLY — The Electric Eve 5K Neon Glow Fun Run will be held at Misquamicut State Beach, 257 Atlantic Ave., on Friday, June 27, at 9 p.m.

The run will provide an opportunity to wear glow-in-the-dark wigs, costumes, blinking sunglasses, and neon tutus, and run the course on Atlantic Avenue.

A costume will be available for purchase for anyone who doesn’t have one.

A pre-party from 7 to 8:45 p.m. will provide face painting, a Flashion Show contest with prizes, moon walk, inflatable slide, food, and cotton candy. Entertainment will include music and a beer garden next to Sam’s Snack Bar, 301 Atlantic Ave., sponsored by Grey Sail Brewing. The event finale will include DJ Don Dada, a laser show, fog machines and CO2 jets.

Proceeds will support the programs of the Greater Westerly-Pawcatuck Area Chamber of Commerce. Registration is $50 for adults and $25 per child.

Team registration rates are also available.
