Moran wrote “An Acre Plus: Invitation to a Growing Life,” which looks at 21st century artisan farmers who grow flowers and vegetables and sell them directly to the public at farmers markets.
Moran also is a founding member of CLUC*K, a group formed in Stonington to encourage changes in regulations allowing the raising of chickens on residentially zoned lots. She helped create a garden program at Stonington High School called “Grow Your Own Lunch.”
