AGE Born, March 2, 1947, so that makes me 67.

OCCUPATION Full-time artist since my retirement.

RESIDENCE Pawcatuck.

RIGHT NOW I’M IN THE MIDDLE OF Preparing to be the “Featured Artist for the Month of August” at The Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly.

BORN, RAISED & GREW UP IN Born in Queens, grew up in Hicksville, N.Y., on Long Island.

FAVORITE WAY TO SPEND MY TIME Creating new artwork, gardening, kayaking.

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT Finishing a 70-mile endurance race in a canoe to celebrate my 50th birthday.

I’D LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR Being a person who cared about family, friends and her animals.

TOP ON MY BUCKET LIST Visiting Italy. I’ve done some traveling, but have yet to get to Italy.

ALWAYS IN MY POCKET A dog treat.

WHAT I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GREW UP A veterinarian.

PERSON WHO HAS INFLUENCED ME THE MOST My Dad. He believed I could be a great painter and he was the one who bought me my first art supplies.

FAVORITE AUTHOR Patricia Cornwell.

I AM READING I just finished “Nature Wars,” by Jim Sterba. We must be careful when we mess with Mother Nature.

I AM LISTENING TO Kenny G on sax.

FAVORITE MOVIE Will always be “An Affair to Remember” with Carey Grant and Deborah Kerr.

FAVORITE TV SHOW I have always loved TV and have too many favorites, but If I have to choose just one, it would be Jeopardy.

FAVORITE PET I’ve always loved dogs and have had them all my life. Right now I have Quinn, a Golden, and Ruby, a Black Lab rescue.

FAVORITE FOOD When out for Italian food, I will always order Eggplant Parmesan.

TIME I SPEND A DAY ON FACEBOOK I probably put in a good 60 minutes total on Facebook now that I actually know what I’m doing.

TRAIT I MOST ADMIRE Empathy. I think if we could all put ourselves in the other person’s shoes, the world might be a better place.

PET PEEVE People who don’t stop at stop signs. I’m unable to understand how people can be so careless with their lives and the lives of others.

FAVORITE QUOTATION “Be the change you want to see in the world.” — Gandhi

MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT OUR LITTLE CORNER OF THE WORLD The four seasons. I love all of them, even winter.

CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT The ability to create.

LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT ME I can’t swim but I’ve raced canoes and love kayaking.

BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.

ADVICE I BEST LIKE TO GIVE Put yourself in the other person’s shoes before passing judgment.

IF I RULED THE WORLD I WOULD Advocate harmony, peace and equality for all the world’s people.

IF I WON THE LOTTERY, THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS Donate some of those winnings to the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center and The Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly. Two of my favorite nonprofits.

I DRIVE A 2004 Black Jaguar and a 2003 Subaru Outback.

I WISH I DROVE A cute two-seat sports car.

ALWAYS IN MY FRIDGE Fixings for a good salad.

IF I COULD HAVE DINNER AND A CONVERSATION WITH ANYONE IN THE WORLD I WOULD CHOOSE Barbara Walters. The conversation would be very entertaining and she’d be doing all the talking.
