Team at Octagon Wins Old Saybrook Chili Festival

The team at Octagon, the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa’s renowned steakhouse, announced their big win at the Old Saybrook Chili Festival held at the beginning of the month. Chefs from across Connecticut participated in the annual event, hoping to be honored with the prize of a donation to the charity of their choice. Octagon took first place with their smoky, sweet and spicy “Phoenix Chili,” created by Octagon Chef Antone Andrews, and chose the March of Dimes to receive a donation in honor of the team’s festival win.
