Neil and Barbara (Cavalieri) Mount of Misquamicut/Westerly celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in October. The Mounts were married on October 23, 1954 at Saint Rose of Lima Church in Meriden, CT., which was the hometown of both. In the 1970’s they added a Misquamicut home to their lives and, with children and with many family members, they vacationed in summers for many years, After their retirements in 2003, they chose to make Westerly their permanent home and they became involved in many enjoyable activities. Neil Mount BS, MBA is retired from Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies where after his military service he was a manager for 37 years. Barbara Mount RN, BA, MPA is a retired Healthcare Executive with a 50 year career in both nursing and hospital administration at Connecticut hospitals (Meriden-now Midstate, Gaylord, and Griffin). The Mount family includes three daughters: Karen Dettor in VT., Kimberly Mount in TX, and Kelly Gonzalez (Ron) in CT.
