With rain, slush and snow several accidents have been reported throughout the area. Little snow has fallen along the coast, but just a few miles inland, reports of 3 inches or more have been called into The Sun newsroom.
Schools: CANCELLED: Westerly, Stonington, N. Stonington, Chariho, Meadowbrook Waldorf School in Richmond. .
College: Rhode Island College; Providence College
Parking bans: Area police departments have instituted parking bans for the day.
