WESTERLY — Westerly High and South Kingstown advanced to the junior varsity championship game with victories on Wednesday.
Westerly defeated Stonington, 65-51, while South Kingstown beat Chariho, 68-56.
Connor Warner scored 17 points, all in the second half, for Westerly. He made two 3-pointers. Jawarie Hamelin finished with 14 and Nick Lauzon had 10.
Aaiden Borsher made six 3-pointers and finished with 18 points for the Bears.
Anthony Fry scored 10 points, all in the second half.
South Kingstown 65,Chariho 56
Richard Hall scored 18 points and Sean Gardiner added 14 as South Kingstown got past Chariho in the second JV game of the day.
Levi King was the top scorer for Chariho with 19. Nate Dauray contributed nine. Nathaniel Felicetti finished with seven.
Westerly and SK will play in the title game at 4 p.m. on Friday.
Chariho and Stonington will play in the consolatin game at 2:15 p.m.
